Terms of Use

The App is intended for parents and legal guardians aged 18 or older.

• You create a SchoolRun account by creating a unique SchoolRun email address and password. You access the App using this SchoolRun email address and password, which are separate from your personal email account.
• SchoolRun does not access, connect to, authenticate into, or read your email inbox.
• You may choose to forward school-related emails from your personal email account to your dedicated SchoolRun email address for processing.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and device security.

• SchoolRun processes only content that you have forwarded or uploaded to generate digests, reminders, and calendar entries.
• Processing occurs on a periodic basis (currently daily and weekly).
• We do not guarantee real-time processing or immediate reflection of newly forwarded or uploaded content.

• Some schools use third-party platforms (e.g., Toddle, ManageBac).
• SchoolRun does not access, scrape, or retrieve data directly from any school platform or email provider.
• We process only emails and attachments that you intentionally forward to SchoolRun or upload through the App.
• If a document requires login to a third-party system, you must access it directly.

• By adding a child profile, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that child.
• You provide consent for us to process the child's details solely for the purpose of delivering the service.
• You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the child profile or closing your account.

• You may upload content such as invitations, screenshots, images, or notes.
• You confirm that you have the right to upload this content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
• You remain responsible for any personal data relating to third parties included in uploaded content.
• We may remove or restrict access to content that breaches these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App unlawfully or in violation of these Terms.
• Attempt to bypass access controls or security measures of any third-party platform.
• Upload harmful, offensive, misleading, or infringing content.
• Misrepresent your relationship to a child.

SchoolRun uses automated systems and AI to summarise and organise information. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that all information will be complete, error-free, or up to date. The App is an organisational assistant only and is not an official school communication channel.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SchoolRun is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including missed events, deadlines, or payments.

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the App.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes affecting your rights will require renewed acceptance. Continued use of the App after minor updates constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
