📜 Terms of Use

The App is for parents and legal guardians aged 18+.

• You log in with a supported provider (e.g., Gmail, Outlook, Apple).
• You authorise the App to read school-related emails from domains you specify.
• You are responsible for maintaining your login credentials and device security.

• SchoolRun processes communications on a periodic basis (currently once daily and once weekly) to generate digests and reminders.
• We do not guarantee real-time capture or immediate reflection of new emails.
• Processing times may change as we improve the service.

• We process only emails and attachments already delivered to your inbox.
• We do not directly integrate with or access school platforms (e.g., Toddle, ManageBac).
• If a document requires login, you must access it directly.

• By adding a child profile, you confirm you are the parent/legal guardian.
• You provide explicit consent for us to process that child's details solely to deliver the service.
• You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting the child profile.

• You may upload content (e.g., birthday invitations, screenshots, images, notes).
• You confirm you have the right to upload this content and that it does not infringe others' rights.
• You remain responsible for any third-party personal data included in uploads.
• We may remove content that breaches these Terms.

You agree not to:

• Use the App unlawfully.
• Attempt to bypass access controls of any third-party platform.
• Upload harmful, offensive, or irrelevant content.
• Misrepresent your relationship to a child.

The App is an assistant tool only and is not an official school communication channel.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages (including missed events, deadlines, or payments).

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms. Material changes (affecting your rights) will require renewed acceptance. Minor updates will be notified in-app, and continued use constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
